My uncle has a (i think) 91 LX sedan... it is a dark green color, almost like the new civics have. I have never seen another one this color, is it just me? or did he change the color. I know he had it painted, about 3 years ago.

Reason i ask is that i am gonna buy it, hopefully within the next week or so.

i've never seen a dark colored green civic from honda until the 96+ years...although there were those teal colors and that aztec green (del sol)..that car was probably painted sometime ago...check the trunk area by the spare to see what color it was, unless he had that succer stripped to metal for paint...

some crx's (not sure about civics) came in 'tahitian green' but thats not the same darker green like the newer civics, i'd have 2nd CLICC916's idea and take a look in the spare tire area, or even the engine bay or the b pillar (plenty of places to look..) to see if it was another color, but if he did have it stripped to the metal and painted then that would be even better.

 

90-91 Si hatchbacks and 91 DX hatchbacks came in the tahitian green as well.

and i think your uncle had it painted that color. that's my opinion.
