Default JDM black housing headlight for 4th gen????

for those of you with the JDM headlights, ive heard you need to rewire to get them to work properly? is this true? or is it just plug and play....

u goda rewire them, but the guyt hat sold me mine left the ends on them and they were same colors as the usdms just need a few wire crimpers and youll be fine its easy to do.

do the oem plugs not work? or do the jdms require different bulbs?

im not too sure why there is any need to rewire....

the JDM lights use H1/H4 rather than the 9000 series like USDM.... you essentially cut the old harnesses off and put the H1/H4 directly in place if you wish to use the H4 as low beam and H1 as high beam..... if you wanna use the H4 as low and high beam and H1 as a fog or auxiliary light then there is a lot more wiring with relays and such. If thats what you want there is a good wiring diagram that i used by Volk Racing that explains everything. Hope this helped.
