The last JDM d15 I put into a car came carbed. So I couldn't answer the TB question. But I know it sure was a lot more power than the standered US d15b7.

Was it as much as a d16z6??? Hmmm hard to tell in the butt dyno, as I love the vtec and rev's.

JDM d15B sohc vtec (not vtec-e or carb version) rated @ 130ps.
it uses basically a VX bottom end (for better r/s ratio), and top is comprised of P08 head which is just like rhe D16z6 head. Intake, TB, and the rest is identical with a exception of the cam which is slightly more aggressive and 4.5 degrees retarded when compared to z6 cam (due to block height difference).

sometimes i dont blame him for not posting here... until just recently there was no love for the d series. everytime he made a tech post some ignorant fool would post some crap about swap this, d series suck.

after years of listening to (reading) junk... what would you do?
probably migrate to the dseries forum, where his knowledge is appreciated.

Well, I would say the Z6, if for no other reason because they're plentiful & cheap, and you don't have to pay the popularity tax on it just because it's from JDM Land.

Edit- Way off topic, but iluvjasmine, your avatar is a cutie

JDM D15 $400 + $450 LSD Tranny. Or $800 puchased the same time.
