if you wanna remove the rear wiper to get that "clean" look, why not just by a STD hatch, which didn't have it to begin with?

The hole is just the right size for one of the standard radio antenna plugs used on police cars (3/4"). There is also a plug that size used for the undercoating holes. Then there are the infamous other ways to do it - best one is to have it welded shut with a plate or find another hatch without hole.
If you plan to road race the car in one of several classes-check before removing. I had to put mine back on as Improved Touring reqiures that it be there. STS and others I have no idea.

I didn't mean the car, just the actual hatch part.

id would be cheaper to "shave" over it.

not if you sold your Si hatch or traded it in for an STD one. I had a rear wiper before but the hatch was pretty rusted so i just replace the hatch with one of a CX(canada's STD)

I agree with the previous posts saying to go to a salvage yard and find a hatch without the wiper whole. I'm going to do the same to my hatch and I personally do not like bondo and think it would be better to to go find one that came off of a car that came from the factory without it. On the subject of the springs... I despise coilovers. We have found that after they are installed they are too much of a hassle to adjust over and over again; furthermore, they give the car what we like to call the "PoGo" effect or it rides like a pogo stick. I would recomend a set of eibachs, H & R's, or skunk springs. We changed from a set of ground control coilovers to the eibach prokit and it rides so well that the owner cannot tell it is lowered.

yeah that's why I'm looking to get a hatch from a salvage yard with the wiper already on it. I have to use rain-x right now to be able to see out of my rear window after a rainfall.

i just use wax on mine, i wipe all of the water out from underneath the tail lights (the small slit between the tail lights and the filler piece, i also pop the hatch and clean all the water ways and around the tail lights and the back plastic cover, along with underneath the spoiler, mine stays really clean after i am done washing it.
