355 Challenge vs. F40 *video* Question
I've only been there twice, and both times it was in an underpowered 240SX, and it was probably 3 years ago. At the time, I liked it, but since then I've done Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta, Road America, etc and it's not really in the same league with those places. Its still a lot of fun though

I will race on those before I die.
Huh, the 355 did far better than I would have expected. Have you ever *seen* an F40 in person? Truly an impressive car... in fact I hate to use the pedestrian term "car" when it comes to an F40.
No kidding, dowload already!
Without a doubt the F40 is my favorite Ferrari. Well maybe the 288 GTO. And then there's the 365 Cali Spyder. . .and you can't forget the F12002.
DOH!
That misshift made me cringe!

Its alot of fun, has alot of history, but is very slippery in the cold/wet and doesnt have much runoff in some areas.
then there's the 365 Cali Spyder
kind of a wierd lookin' car. 330 GTC fron w/ 365gtc/4 rear/tails.
Do you mean, the 250GT LWB California Spyder. This car?
of the 365 Daytona spyder? This car:
Interestingly enough, there were no factory made 365 daytona spyders. Rather, there were factory ordered cut daytonas that became spyders. The most prominent being scagletti ( a previous coachwork), sheenan also had a business cutting daytonas.

That's the cause of the advantage.

If you don't race at the Glen, there isn't much point to racing at all!

Knighton and I were watching that F40/355 video and realized that they were not going as fast through T4 and that tight little infield section as some of our ITR/Prelude brethren.
Although, if I were driving one of those cars, neither would I. If I wrecked an F40, I think the Pope would damn me to Hell.
