why is a b16a2 '99 or '00 cost 4900, that ridiculous. how much could i get a complete swap for a '99 ex.

i bought my 00' b16a2 for 2600 shipped from ebay...with everything but axles i believe.with less than 10k miles...if u are interested the guys aol/aim name is j k a n 2 0 0 1..hes a good guy ..highly recomended.

 

yeah, jkan2001 was active on SHO. I've heard good things about him, but I've never ordered anything from him myself.

 

i went to inventory or something like that, listed zip code and stuff, said they were all 48*% something or other.
so do i just call to see if they have any to get a quote on price

 

just call them man, i doubt a b16a2 is 4900. calling is the only way to be sure.

LMAO it isn't that much for a B16A2. I just bought my B16A2 from him, w/ 30k miles, complete for $3400.

Yes I realize that isn't the "lowest" I could get it for BUT do engines from other places come with a 90-day warrenty, guarenteed clean swaps the FIRST time? More than likely not, IAS rocks, best swaps ever.

Maybe you typed in 99 and 00 b16a2 swaps You can get two for that price

No you didn't make me mad, but it makes me wonder why people often go the cheaper route when the cheaper route often includes giving you hard earned cash to an either untrusted or "unfounded" so to speak seller, rather than go with someone will give you a guarenteed running swap, with all the parts, and a 90-day warrenty. I don't like to play games with people whom I just gave such a large amount of money too, because I wouldn't want them running off with it, and me having no recourse to reclaim my stolen cash.
