Default I got a Brake Problem!!!

My brake lights don't work but My turn signals & Reverse lights do and my third tail light doesn't light up either. I have checked all the fuses that I could think of and I haven't found a blown fuse or anything!! Can anyone help!!!!

Maybe the brake pedal switch or its wiring is bad. If you have cruise control, does pressing the brake pedal disable the cruise?

Yes it does disable the cruise control!

I've checked the bulbs the bulbs are fine! My Turn signals work but my Brake lights and my Third brake light doesn't work??? How do I go about using a volt meter???

Just check each segment of wire, check for kinks or breaks in the wiring, check it in segments until you find out where it's gone dodgy. Just cut open the insulation and check it that way and tape it back up after it checks out

it looks like its going to be the brake light switch. check under your brake pedal, they go out from time to time.

I replaced the Brake light Switch and it wasn't that either???? Does anyone know what else it could Be!!!!

I just had this same problem with my eg. I had no idea I had no brake lights, untill someone brought it to my attention. All three lights were out (2 tails and 3rd brake light), but my horn also was not working. Didnt take me long to realize they are on the same circut. I changed a blown 20amp fuse out in the under the hood fuse box and bam I have brakes and horn. So see if your horn works, and start trying to isolate the problem in the circut.
