Ok, Ive noticed this for awhile now but didnt really pay attention to it..But now im getting a little curious...Whenever I hit the brakes a little hard i hear this loud pop from the front of the car...Ive looked under there and havent noticed anything bad besides the torn cv boot..If anybody has or had this problem please post...Thanks!

 

More than likely your control arm bushings have shrunk (due to cold weather) and are causing this problem. I too have this problem when it gets cold and it is really annoying. Replacing the bushings is a PITA so I have opted not to do anything about it. It's probably not going to hurt anything, it's just annoying.
