Oh my gosh, I can't believe this. FINALLY from 6 months being suspended and no restrictions got my license reinstated. I'm so happy. I've been driving the last 4 hours since I got back from the DMV. Taking a break as we speak and then go out and drive again. My car is happy too!!! I'm gonna fill her up and just cruise for awhile. Well just wanted to share my joyful day today. Drive safe cause it's not worth getting your license taken away.

I got a bogus reckless ticket from a VA STATE TROOPER. He said he clocked me going 97 on a 55 mph highway. I was just on my way home. Not racing anybody cause that's illegal There were 2 cars going faster than me when we passed the trooper. I was going about 72mph and he pulled me over. I asked him if i can see the radar readout and he said he can't. If i'm correct you can do that and he's supposed to show that to you. Having bright yellow cars don't help either. I went to jail for 5 days also which was a joke, but anyways I'm glad it's all over with. Just going to be very careful driving from now on.

Good luck bro and be carefull. I cant wait till my joyfull day when I can make a post like this. Mine has been suspended for about a month and I get mine back on April 24th and I cant wait. My R is just sitting in my driveway waiting for me to drive her again. I dont feel too bad though since my throwout bearing is rattling and my front end is still wrecked. Anyway, try to stay at the speed limit.

Over 20mph is reckless. I guess you didn't read it carefully. I wasn't going 97mph. There was two other cars that was in the vicinity. I was actually on the far right lane and the other 2 cars where in the middle and the fast lane. It was a FORD Tempo and a PONTIAC Grand Am. He picked me cause my car was Bright Yellow, HIDS, and modified.

Yes I did Ross. I had a lawyer too, but just my luck the commonwealth prosecutor was the BIGGEST Biatch of them all. I was warned that she had that reputation eventhough SHE WAS A HOTTIE. But anyways I did appeal it and went up to Circuit Court which gave me a lesser jail term sentence.

 

I hope you check you insurance rates becuase I'm sure it's going to be pretty high.

insurance rates is still the same, hasn't gone up. I had a perfect record/flawless before I got this charge.

 

HAHHAHA, I think im happier then you, this is what happen today, Feb, 25th, went to the dmv, waited about 2 hrs 30mins, they called me up, I went to the counter and said im here to pay my reinstatement fee, (nov.7,2002, my court date,judge said my license would be suspended for 6 months, didnt say anything about driving improvement class he just dismissed me, so blah blah payed the court fees, 2 months later the dmv sent me home a paper saying i have to go to a driving improvement class, then pay a reinstatement fee by march 3rd, or my license will be suspened indefinatey or how ever u spell it, so anyways, at the dmv, the lady says"
Lady: Have you been here earlier to pay your 60$ reinstatement fee?
Me: Um no why? this is my first time in here today
Lady: it says up here that its already paided today
Me: thats weird
Lady: well what do you know your one lucky guy you only have to pay 5$ to get your licenses back
Me: SWEET!
Lady: guess what else
Me: What?
Lady: If you would of came in here another day your license would of been gone, today was your last day to pay it off.
Me: What? the paper they sent me said I had to pay my reinstatement fee by march 3rd.
Lady: well its not what it says on the computer.
Lady: I'll tell you what since your still willing to pay the 60$ you can just give it to me
Me: haha no its ok that just mean i got 60$ to burn
Lady: well ok go wait to they call your name so you can get your licenses back, so I went to go sit on a chair, when they called me up they took my picture and everything then i walked out with a new licenses

so heres the whole thing in short version.

Judge said my licenses was suspended for 6 months=
DMV sent me home a paper saying to complete a Driving Improvement class, then pay a reinstatement fee = 60 for class.
Waiting at the DMV= 2 hrs 30 so mins
reinstatement fee= 5 bucks, when it was suppose to be 60$, lady said someone already paid, maybe it was god?
waiting 3 months instead of 6 to get my licenses back= wonderful
walking out the dmv with my licenses 3 months shorter then the judge order me= F the judge
P.S VA is not a place to do 20mph over speed limit =x
lesson learned= no more speeding(10mile over limit), except with a radar and once n a while special occasion

lol you dont want to, i wanted to cry when the judge said it was gona be suspended for 6 months lol, but its ok i got it back n 3 months haha the Judge got played screw him and hes 6 month suspension lol

 

I can't imagine what is your insurance premium!

 

I've never had a speeding ticket. In fact I don't have any violations at all.

Why am I paying extra premium? Oh I forgot, because of other people.
