Default Lifter noise?

Maybe I'm just crazy but it seems like the lifters on my h23 are a little noisey. (at idle)
A friend of mine said that all dohc motors do this, so is there maybe a different weight oil or something that would quiet them down? Am I just paranoid or what. Oh yeah, the engine's only got 37, 000 miles.

Hondas don't have "lifters" in the traditional sense. If the valve is not adjusted correctly it will make a noise, but that sound is coming from the valve itself. There is no lifter.

If you get the valves adjusted, or do it yourself, the valve train quiets down a good bit.
