umm i was at walmart getting a oil change kuz i needed one done quick anyways here comes this guy with a type R, so i told the guy i wanted castrol gtx 5w30, and hes all okay.....so anyways i come back after getting some food and they inform me that they confused my car with the bright yellow type r and put mobil 1 syn 10w30 in....but hes like its the best oil we have and we wont charge u extra for it. so im like okay...they told me not to mix regular and syn oil if i get low i know that......but they said at my next oil change i can go back to regular oil....but what im having a problem with, is some people are telling me i cant go back to it once i use synthetic...can someone provide me with a truthful answer, also what will happen if i try and go back to the regular oil.....as it was working just fine....i dont think the extra price in synthetic oil is worth it and not sure if i want to stick with it

 

You should be able to go back to regular no problem, but I dont think you'll want to. Full Synth oil just makes your car run better. Heck, use that Lucas Oil Treatment stuff with Synth and it really kicks ***!!

 

nothings going to happen to ur motor if u go back to reg. oil..but if i were u , id just stick with Mobil 1

 

wont be a problem.

and dont use that lucas treatment **** in your car!
