Rear Sway Bar Experience
I have a 6th gen coupe 4 cyl as most of you know, I am getting a rear sway bar from CL-S pretty soon.
For those who installed on before...
1)how hard is the installation?(consider i have a jack and some snap-on tools)
2)how does it feel to drive it with a thicker rear sway bar?

the install is stupidly easy, two end links and two bolts- thats it
drive difference- huge, most noticable if your on good shocks and springs, less body roll and the rear end doesnt want to slip as much
great upgrade IMO...

well, speaking from a 5th gen point of view, the ST rear bar was a great investment. installation was very simple. and combined with my Koni shocks and Neuspeed springs, among other stuff, the handling is mind-boggling.

It is easy, but I stripped the hex socket with my alan wrench which made the install a PITA since I had to order a new endlink. It makes the car neutral off throttle on my car going around a skidpad during a roadcourse event.

The 2003 CL-S/TL-S bars should be the same. I'm not aware of a sway bar difference in that model year. And you can easily get all the parts for the rear sway bar swap with $50.
I made a very lengthy review on these bars so if you'd like to see the link, please email me or message me. It IS on another forum so I'll give you the link via email or what not. And it's an easy install if you take off the bolts off the endlinks first. And if the bolts are not rusted. Just a jack, ratcheting socket wrench, sockets, open end wrenches, and an allen key no. 5 should do the whole job.
And the driving experience is good. At the limit you'll still have understeer but you can't beat the handling upgrade/$ ratio. For ultimate handling, the Comptech set should be a better choice.

If more people are interested, here are some fast facts:
The 98-02 Accords (I4/V6/2-door/4-door) and the current gen. TL's and CL's all share suspension parts. So this is why TL people get the Tein SS coil-overs for the Accords and what not.
So the bar to get is the TL-S or CL-S rear sway bar with two TL-S/CL-S bushings and two TL-S/CL-S bushing brackets. The benefit is that depending on what model Accord you have, you can either have no sway bar (DX), 16 mm sway bar, or a 17 mm sway bar from the factory. And the TL-S/CL-S rear sway bars are 19 mm in diameter. So it's a nice beefy upgrade for low cost. It won't beat Comptech's 22 mm or Neuspeed RACE 25 mm rear sways but those can cost much more. The TL-S/CL-S bars are nice for the daily driver and alike. Plus if you're not used to oversteer on a FWD car, you'll want to use rear sway bars that are not too stiff. And you MAY experience oversteer on these TL-S/CL-S rear sway bars especially so if you brake heavily (shifting weight to front) then **** your steering wheel one way.

The Comptech bars are heavier, thicker, and stiffer than both the front and rear of Accords and TL/CL family. So you get better handling overall. But it does cost around $300 for a new set. And I don't know how you'd be able to get just the rear of the Comtpech bar. But if you do, that's a pretty big bar to get just for the rear. You may get a LOT of OVERSTEER.
So I'd say the same about the Eibach bar if it's sold separately. Get them in sets if you can. Or if you want to just get the rear, try the CL-S/TL-S. If just replacing the rear sway bar, I wouldn't get anything thicker or stiffer than 21 mm solid in the rear. A 20 mm rear bar would probably be perfect.

Make sure you also get the brackets and bushings for the new bars. Your old ones should not fit with the TL-S bars. $40 for both is pretty good. The TL-S guy probably went with Comptech's. For the TL/CL series, their car weight is heavier and to experience upgrades they have to get bigger than 19 mm bars. Thankfully the 6th gen. Accord owners can benefit from our cousin's inexpensive stock bars

looks like you will need endlinks for those sway bars, and the sway bar bushings for the first sway bar from the top.

From the picture, it looks like you might need new (TL-S) front bushings and brackets. But then again, I'm not sure if you have an Accord V6 or not. I don't know much about replacement front sway bars but I believe both the Accord V6 and the TL-S/CL-S share the same diameter front sway bar at 27.2 mm maybe? The non-V6 Accords have a slightly thinner front sway bar. And I don't know if you'd really want to negate the more neutral steer benefits from a stiffer rear sway bar by adding a stiffer front sway bar. A stiffer front bar equates to more grip but also more understeer.
But do go back to the guy if you can't fit the TL-S front sway bar with your existing bushings and brackets. I'd imagine the Comptech sway bar set would include brackets and bushings for front and rear so he should have his stock bushings and brackets to give you.
EDIT: I just read that you have an Accord I4 so it's up to you on whether to replace the front sway bar too. If so, get the bushings and brackets for them. And sorry I don't know part numbers for them.

yeah good point i suppose buying it off a local acura dealer won't be too bad, since i live in canada ;0 congrats though - you got a kickass deal

what's the "weakest link" in the accord suspension? it just doesn't feel as tight as the tib - a lot more body roll and the chassis feels sorta unsettled when doing quick maneuvers. (not to mention the accord's a little bouncy, but it's probably due to the stock shocks not damping enough) will the thicker sways help significantly in these aspects?

I personally emailed him number of time about front vs. rear.
I think he have a set of aftermarket sway bar, neuspeed i think.
he have too much understeering with the front sway bar and he never like it.
after he remove the front(leave the only the back sway bar) he told me is worth it..
He gave me pretty good advices before and i think 50-80 bucks on suspension mod sounds like a steal.
I mean, i dont really expect it to out corner rsx or s2k for that money but yeah i want to tighten the car a little bit more.
I dont have whole lot of spell(since I am planning to go FI soon), if the upgrade is reasonable i might get some better brand like comtech or something.
