this has been covered in a billion debates. some say brand A is better than brand B... short ram/cai. if your just bolting an intake on of anykind with no other mods, the most you will get is 5-8hp on a b series engine.

 

LOL! What the does this even mean?? British Columbia represent y0! I like your abbreviation for approximately and the extra question mark thrown in there. Well just so Im not accused of being a dick for the 5th time today on these boards I'll try to help. An aftermarket intake's gains are dependant on the amt of whp the engine is putting out in the first place. Swapping in a stock intake assembly on a 300whp turbo'ed car will probably cut back 20whp or so.. but for most applications you'd only see 3-4whp with a shortram and 6-8whp with a CAI. Do a search next time.
