The hub bub about the prototype Type R suspention....I am unclear on two things. I have heard that they were on the 88 civics. Then I heard from another source that usually never misses with his knowledge that it was on the 89s, not the 88s.

Also, was it on the CRXs at all?

 

'88's dont have the whole ITR suspention. All they have that is the same is the Rear LCA's That are made for shocks that are ball and eye. Not the fork type. It only came on the '88's and no other year Civic/CRX.

 

my 88 hf has them. what else is there for the type r stuff?

 

ITR stuff like 5 lug, sway, Shocks, springs. The 88's are different then the ITR on that.
