Default bunch of crvtec questions awnser at will!!!!!!!!!

i was told itr pistons will fit a crvtec is this true, will ctrs fit them too, if not what is a good company to go with?

for my head should i was thinking b16 is it even worth getting the c5 head? i want to upgrade my internals, (valvetrain, cams blah blah,)

speaking of cams, i heard toda stage threes suck so ive been looking a lot at jun threes are they good, i mean i heard with the stage three todas that your idle and **** is fucked, or would ctr cams do me justice? lol

im sorry i have so many questions it's just so many things going through my head,

couple more things, will a itr jdm header fit the crv motor or is there modifications, and can i get a itr intake to fit it, and, if i get the itr intake what would i get for cold air intake? i mean it's an itr tb on a crv motor inside of a 94 hatch

if you guys have any better ideas im so open for them cuz really im winging this one lol

-edit- what is the c/r on a stock crv? please help
mark

you need to do a lot more searching man. In the future these questions can all be answered with the search button but I'll be nice this time.

1) No, different bore size, ctr/itr= 81mm crv = 84

2)If you are going upgrade the head then you should just get the b16 head

3)Depends on what If you want FI or NA and then depends on how much idle means to you and how much drivability means to you and if this is all out drag car or street car, yadda yadda..

4)Jdm header will fit crv motor both are b series motors

5)by itr intake i am assuming intake manifold, If you use the b16 head or itr head then yes the ITR intake manifold will work, they are essentially the same head

6) for cold air intake if you use the itr intake manifold then you use an itr cold air

Off the bat, the C5 head has better porting and a more aggressive cam set-up. If you are leaving the bottom end relatively stock, ITR/CTR cams may be a good choice for you. If you could find a ITR head decently priced it may be worth it to start out with the better cams, porting, valvesprings, etc.

If you're going to run Jun 3's or Toda C's you are going to need some serious compression to make power thats possible with those cams. You are also going to need some good tuning done. As far as the Todas having a crappy idle, that depends on the tuning. Toda C's have the same primary lobes as the Toda B's, its just the VTEC lobes that are way more aggressive. So as far as idleing you can look at peoples responses to B's as well.

97-98 USDM B20B = 8.8
99-00 USDM B20Z = 9.6
JDM B20B 9.6

is there a reason why you want a crvtec? why not just build an R motor? cause it sounds like you'd be spending the same amount
