Default Save on a helmet: GroupBuy with OG Racing

Hey guys,
There is a groupbuy going on for Helmets from http://www.ogracing.com/.

If we get 10 people in, we save 20% off the list price!

This is being organized on a BMW board. Here is the link for the original thread I got this from. http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...316#post745316

-There are currently 8 or 9 people in on the deal, so if a few people from here commit then this thing can go through. 20% is a good chunk of change for the small amount of effort involved in getting in the group buy.

PM me if you have any questions.

Well most people need a helmet ASAP, so the sooner the better.

We're talking to the shop and trying to see that once we reach the minimum number of people (10), they keep the GB open for a certain period of time.

The 20% does sound sweet doesn't it?

Read the other thread and the coordinator seems to want to lock it in by Friday. I'm in agreement since alot of people are needing these soon.

Guys, apparently alot of people are contacting OG Racing directly and wanting to get the discount now.

That is not how a group buy works. Contact the GB coordinator in the Bimmerforums.com thread (sardil) and get on the list. He will submit the list to OG Racing on Sunday night - then you can order the helmet monday.

Really guys - this isn't that hard. Don't try to go over people's heads and end up ruining this for everyone else in the process.

Thanks

I'd love to jump in on it, but will I get burned at the stake if Bieffe, Bell, or Simpson doesn't fit my misshapen skull?

Props to Sardil on Bimmerforums for getting this organized.

I'm in for a Bell M2 (as is 80% of the other people buying through this GB ).

This sounds like essentially the same deal that you can get w/the ITR Expo group buy, but there's no cutoff before the Expo, and you can get it anytime.
Can you link me to some info?
