Alright guyz, im officialy sick and tired of my weak factory brakes. I mean if im goin over sixty, i tap da pedal and the steerin wheel is ready to break my wrist. Newayz, whats the cheapest yet an effective way to get bigger / better brakes.

Yea who needs em brteaks are for sissies!

Check out some big brake kits or bigger rotors. Your rotors might be warped or something.

 

bigger isnt always better for brakes

if your steering wheel is shaking under braking you have warped rotors.

2 new front rotors, 20$ a piece
GOOD front pads 60-80$
good fluid 15$

and you will have a great brake setup.
im not even going to argue with how people think a big brake kit with slotted/drilled rotors are madd phat y0! and they helped my stopping distance y0! because its a waste of breath. just go into the road racing forum and ask what they use.

brembo blanks and metal master pads works great for me

if your not gonna research what you need then go to a shop that actually races. not some shop that has display itmes that just sit. trust people who actually do it every weekend.

 

you should get an alignment first, that could be the problem with the wheel cutting either left or right.

 

d00d, get a rActive brake pedal! that ish shortens your stopping distance by like 40 ft y0!

 

get parachute froma funny car and deploy it when ever you want to stop of course after you deploy it you will have to get out and roll it up so your ready for the next stop light

Haha, yall are too much. Suppose i got the fast brakes wilwood caliper with the 11" rotor upgrade, wouldn't my wheels just lock up even quicker now?

 

im real stupid wid alot of car **** lol so bare with me. What would i need to do, if i wanted 99-00Si brakes, or gsr or even ITR brakes... are they ALOT better? and how much wud they run me.... PLZ HELP (nomo funny comments lol)

 

just get some brembo blanks from http://www.nopi.com for about 20 bux.

then get some good pads and fuid.

For simple braking all you really need is the front brakes, since they are what takes the brunt of the braking, the rears are just for better balance. So if you are looking to go relatively cheap, just get either GSR/LS/SI front brakes, that should really be all you need! Hope I help.
