My friend Justin has made an external camera mount for his 1992 Civic hatch. We were messing around with it on Sunday, and he got some pretty cool footage of 6 of us hybrid hatches rolling/cruising around with some "dropping" footage too.

The cars:

CX with B18C5 (me)
Si hatch with B18C5 - H-T member blykins
DX hatch with 170hp second-gen B16A - filming
DX hatch with a swap to remain anonymous (top secret, but faster than my car for sure!)
CX hatch with B20Z swap with LS tranny and Skunk 2 manifold

It's a huge video, but it's worth it IMO. Very unique camera angle and cool music, and a few nice "action" sequences - you'll see what I mean.

I had to relocate the pics to Imagestation, which downsizes the pics automatically - as soon as We-Todd-Did gets back up I'll relink them because they're bigger there.

That is being fixed now that the guy has another stock hatch as a beater.



Oh and on a side note, the last cong is one of my band's older songs.

We're going to do up a much better video once the mics for his camera don't cut in and out. Next video will be much more action-oriented with about 3 more cameras with much more angles and cuts, and more car sounds and a brand new song by my band.

Next vid will be better on car sounds.

He had two external mics in stereo, but both were cutting out and sounding like ****. The music covers that up pretty well.

Next vid will be WAY more technical. Camera angles and cut scenes that go with the music, more VTEC, etc.

This was just a test and the guy only spent 2 hours tops editing - best ones take at least a week.
