You guys are the quickest to respond to any problem so here goes. I need to ship some sideskirts to MiraiZ's, but they are too big for fedex, ups, and greyhound express(shich I usually use). So if anyone has any ideas that would be great. The current length of the box is 92 inches and 57 inches of girth. I could possibly trim down the boxes to 80-82 by taking some of the end packing out, but will anyone ship it???? For all the people that have shipped stuff like sideskirts and extremely long packages, please chime in.
Thanks. I know this is a little OT but I really need help thanks.

i know that you can ship with the postal office if the length plus girth are 108 inches or less. How about separating and pack it into 2 packages (one for each side skirt)? That should bring it to around 108 inches for each package. You can just ship 2 packages then. I hope this would help.

I shipped a pair of sideskirts across the country via fedex. They have these big bags that they put them in. Take them to the fedex place, they'll help you out. I think it was like 30 bucks.
I shipped a set of optional oem teg skirts UPS without a problem. What kind of skirts are you shipping? The length of the box sounds ridiculously large

thanks for the replies. I am shipping two genuine top fuel skirts. I was trying to give the skirts a lot of room with a lot of nice packing material, but that made the boxes too big. Now I cut them just enough so that they can be sent. I was packing them really carefully because these are 500 dollar skirts and didn't want them to get damaged. All is solved now I think. If the boxes are too big for fedex, I'll try the bag thing. The reason these are larger is because the top fuel skirts have two flaps at both ends, making the width a lot larger and also adding to the height due to the curvature of the wheel well. I think it should be ok now. Congratulations to the happy new owner MiraiZ. He is gonna be all top fueled out!
