My friend is an car audio dealer and he's willing to do a W7 groupbuy, we would probably need about 9-10 people to buy in. A 10w7 would be about 350.

Not to rain on your parade, but I think that JL would be PARTICULARLY interested in this kind of activity considering that it breaks their strict dealer policy. I would think that your buddy would be concerned with losing his ability to carry their product line as well....

Just a word of warning, I wouldn't try to promote these types of sales, especially on a public forum where there may be authorized dealers lurking....
