Default Stock dash back in...Kinda =P

Still have a lot of work to do. The open spot where the airbag used to be will be converted to a water resevior fill-point.
I still have to paint the interior, etc...any opinions?

Did you scrape off the sound deadening crap? I am going to start this next weekend and am looking for any suggestions on the easy way to get this crap off.

I was told to put some anti freeze on it and let it sit for about 18 hours, and it should wipe right off, also dry ice will remove it good, but i dont imagine you have dry ice layin around , i just scraped it off one day with a scraper

use brake fluid and let that stuff sit. It will take off anything.

We roll all the windows down let it sit out side on a cold night then in the morning use a BFH and beat the **** out of it until it comes off, then get a propane torch and a scraper.

A heat gun or hair dryer to heat it up and then a putty knife does a really good job at removing sound deadener. Just heat it up then peal it off. If you want all the sticky and everything then you might need some paint thinner or rubbign alcohal to clean it.

this works to a certain extent...it was about 15 degrees in my garage when I did this...it sort of "chipped" off. Still a bitch to get off though. I will definately try some brake fluid
