Toda & Hondata Compatibility and product info.
I don't have an RSX Type S yet, but i hope to own one in the near future.
Anyway, i just wanted to ask you guys. If you had the AEM CAI and the Hondata Stage 4 ECU re-tuning and you wanted to stay All Motor and lets say i waited for Toda to release their cams for the K20A2 and i decided to go with their Spec B cam (Not mild Spec A but not crazy Spec C.) Now would i be able to go back to where ever it was that i got my Hondata ECU tuning and get it tuned to work with the Toda Cams??? I know they did preliminary work with ITR cams but i do not know what would happen.
I also wanted to ask you guys if and when Toda releases their Tubular Racing Header would it be street legal? Not that it would change my mind in terms of purchasing it, i am just curious.
I would greatly appreciate ANY help i could get from you guys. Thanks again!!!

Yeah Hondata could reflash your ecu again for the Toda's, but why not wait for the actual Toda package?

What do you mean why not wait for the actual Toda Package? What will this Toda Package consist of? I do know that on Toda's Fightex RSX they are using a Power Enterprises P-VTC (Fuel and i-VTEC Controller) to tune their car. Is this what you are talking about? If you are talking about that, than is the P-VTC better than the Hondata ECU?
I know that there is not alot of info out on Toda and its new products for the K20A2 but thanks again to anyone that help! I am just trying to gain as much knowledge as possible!

Word on the street is Toda is going to release a package consisting of cams, springs/retainers, and an ecu. Go to clubrsx and do a search, there is a little bit of info on there about the Toda package and the est. release date.
TOda releasing cams, valve springs. 1100 for cams 400 for springs i dont know how much for install but i know HOndata will def. fine tune the cams and release an ecu flash

Those are the 2 different cams that will be available, and also the Uprated Valve Springs. I hope they are not the prices that you have listed man, because that would be insane.
I was on ClubRSX and they said that Toda and Hondata are going to release the Cams, Valve Springs and ECU together in a package. If you do not plan in getting cams of any sort than get the Hondata ECU stage 4 tuning, but if you do plan on getting serious N/A cams than wait for this package to come out because they are going to charge you again to get your ECU flashed.
On ClubRSX i have been doing searches and people have not been really getting huge increases in performance with exhaust and header combo's. I mean increases yes, but increases worth $1200+ are not seen. I would wait for some company to release a header/cat/exhaust combo set that when work together provide significant gains which are much more than we are seeing with the shorty headers you see out on the market now.
