Default Satellite radio + Stock Integra cd player question

Is it possible to add that satellite radio receiver with the stock Integra cd player or do I have to buy a new head unit?

You can add an XM radio set up to your factory deck by having it play through an RF modulator. Tune to 88.3, 5, 7 on the FM tuner and the XM will play though that radio station. You will have a separate controller that changes the stations and displays the song/artist information. Alpine and Pioneer both offer RF modulated XM setups.

Interesting, thanks.

I took the telescope antenna off from the car

I cut my stock radio antenae and the radio is not capable of receiving anything,am or fm will this affect the modulator in anyway?

How exactly this this modulator work? Im guessing it is "RF"
Is it a wireless device..?

I think I know what you are talking about, I remember a few years back a unit that would allow you to listen to cd's even if you didnt have a cd player in the car?

Thanks for the help!

RF refers to Radio Frequency meaning it works through the radio

yes it will work even tho your stock antenna isnt hooked up.. it basically tricks the antenna into thinkin its recieviing a radio station comin from the xm box.. i would suggest looking into either the delphi, alpine or even pioneer rf xm hookup boxes..
