Kumho tires
Well I definately cant say much for their traction in the snow. But their grip on both wet and dry pavement is excellent. I was alittle skeptical at first with their low pricing and all but so far 15k later they still ride superbly. Oh yeah and they arent noisy on the highway

Ectsa 712's are a great tire. They last longer than Azenis because their treadwear is 340 compared to the Azenis which are 140. The Kumho's grip much better in the wet than the Azenis, but not as sticky. They are an excellent tire choice for daily driving and some spirited A/X... I don't know that that last guy posted, but he is absolutely wrong....
Worst tires I have ever owned. 60' times are worse than stock tires. Stay away. Azenis are cheaper, last longer, and are far superior.
Do you own them? Have you ever owned other tires in it's class? What do you have to compare them to? I'm speaking from personal experience, are you? That's fine if you are, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's why I stated mine.
When i bought these tires, I took everyone's word that they are good tires. I got them, hated them, so I did some of my own research. Every review clearly states their treadware is extremely fast dispite their 340 rating, and their performance is extremely limited. The only good thing about these tires is rain performance and ride comfort, both of which I don't care much about. Do the research.

my friend had and i currently have 711s which are cheaper than the 712s or mx's, only H rated, and we loved them. for everyday driving, they do the job even when you are in a rush going around roundabouts-those circle things that take place of intersections like in europe. azenis may have better grip but how many sets of falkens are you going to go though before you burn up a set of kumhos? and what the hell are you doing on the street where you feel that azenis are the only way to go?
I think Kumho's are garbage. I had Ecsta 712's on my integra right before it was stolen, and the 10% tread of my old yokohama A520's kicked the crap out of the Ecsta's. They're cheap, but not good performance-wise.

The reason most people like Kumho's is because they have never owned a decent performance tire. Your tires are not something to skimp on.

A520s went on the car next. I love 'em. Noisy, but who really cares when they stick like hell given the price. Too bad Yokohama discontinued them. I'll be trying the AVS100 next.

Ditto. I bought 'em cause lots of people said they were a good tire. I hated them.

i ran the kumho zr rated street tires 195-50-15s. i was able to get 2.1 60 foot time in a 2100 lbs all motor civic with a slighty modified b18c5 and run a 13.1@108.7mph. (12.40@109mph on slicks) the car would have gone faster but i only got 2 runs in that day. the tires work fine. and handle really good too. i reccomend them to anyone. there worth it. good price too.
712's. I have them and the only other tire I would get right now are the 711's. In all the driving I've done, Kumho has performed the best for me out of Toyo, Dunlop, Falken, BFGoodrich, Goodyear. I'd really like to try out some Hanook's though....still waiting to.
Well, in the rain and on the highway, the 712s are awesome. But for the street (racing) I dont know. Whenever i went to launch it felt like i was getting a little more spin then I wanted, even when i took it easy. I have the falkens now, but since they are kinda worn, i dont think a comparison is approriate. (esp since they lose traction at the end of first and irratate the **** out of me.)
those arent radial tires so they are metal through the whole thing so you dont have to worry about blowning a tire by hitting curb i believe. I also heard that the metal liners could be stapped with out popping tire...but i dont know if this is true but as soon as i get mine ill tell ya. I'm not going to stap them though
does anyone know what its called? I know most tires are radial but i heard they werent. Damn im an idiot help me out guys.
