Just got back from the Super Comp School at VIR. I am ready and able to go racing with you guys in H1 this year. Hope to have fun and NOT do anything stupid
in April. Any Ideas how to make my CRX faster off the line?

Congrats. Which car were you in? I was there for the Instructor Clinic - I was swapping between the white Caprice and the grey RX-7.
I'm questionable for CMP as well. Long trip, need to burn 2 vacation days, and I may have to work that weekend for a software deployment.

I have a ls/vtec in it . My starts in the car suck. Need to find out how to put the power down without the wheel hop. I was spinning the tires in the wet in third gear.

I pulled a Chad and spent most of my sessions in the mire...sometimes at 100+mph heading into concrete walls....

1.Get rid of the extra weight!
2.Spend $1200 and get 1 4.93 final drive. Aw, c'mon, that kid don'to eat so much!!
3.Learn the exact rpm that your car needs to launch with " just enough, but not too much" wheelspin...in different humidity/temperature conditions.
4.Get rid of the muffler and exit exhaust under car with a turndown 45 degrees to the right.
5.Have fun and god luck, buddy! Cover your ***...

Hey man, does that hurt you at a track like LMS where its bouncing off the wall right back at sound? Seems like it would be louder than if you turned down under the car.

LMS with the SCCA sound police may be a toss up. I always carry a mildly muffled
"backup gun" wherever I go.

Wildman are you going to CMP in April? Maybe I can sleep in your trailer. I think I will try to take the car to the drag strip and do some practice starts. I think the car makes enough power for now. Just need to get it to the ground in first gear.
I don't have NITROUS.... Who said I have NOS????? No nitrous here.... Please do not drill any holes in my cage there is nothing in there..but air.
