Hey Guys,

I was walking around my local junkyard looking for parts, and I came upon a 1st gen supra. The turbo seems a bit bigger than the little T04s and T3's I'm used to, and it IS coming off an I6. Do you guys know any specs of this turbo? I'm hoping to boost my D16A6.

Also, the yard wants 200 bucks for it. Is this a good deal?

$200 for a used turbo from a junkyard ......Thats ******* outragious....especially since it most likely need to be rebuild, you better off buying a new one at that price..one that will be matched to your engine a little better.
The junkyard around here sell there turbo's for $16.50 but you have to pull it off yourself. I wouldn't pay more then $50 for a used turbo unless it's guranteed to be in good working order (like the one i just sold) i.e pulled off a runing car so you know it's in good condition, out of a junkyard it's hit and miss a buddy of mine and I went through 5 turbo's before deciding to buy a new one..
