What tranny for a LS motor? Long or short gear ratio?????
LS has the longest gears....
if you want something shorter get a GS-R
if you want even shorter than that....get an ITR or SI
depends on what you want to do with the car.

I'm at the shop right now doing my LS into a CRX.
They asked me if I want to use the stock LS tranny
or use an A1.(JDM) Which would be better for an every day
driver. Highway driving sucks I hear with shorter gears

if you got the $$, fork it out for the ITR tranny.. if not, get the gsr, the sir's imo are too short, the gsr should suit you fine.

if you use the ITR tranny, you would have to get a cable to hydro conversion i believe. i would stick with y1 or b17 tranny what ever one that was.
highway driving isn't that bad. you'll rev just a bit higher. you'll get better acceleration out of the shorter gears though
in it. I'll be getting the LS computer soon. This motor is a freak'n beast!
