Default 88 DX hatch side moldings......

Is it true???? I have been doing an awful lot of looking for JDM EF side moldings and side skirts and I found where someone said 88 DX hatch side mouldings are the same as the JDM counterparts. Is this shocking revalation true?

I dont know about the side moldings but if you do find out about it please email me at slopok7@earthlink.net

But I've got a B16a with CTR internals but I didnt put it back together yet. Could you please tell me how well it runs and its reliability before I put mine together. My cousin told me that he had a friend who did it already and has had many oil leaking problems.

That's what I'm gonna try to do. I know the crx ones are. I have a '91 fender on my '89 and the moldings would swap easily, I checked it before I put my kit on. They (88-89 and 90-91civics) are the same basic chassis so I assume they would be. Hondas are legos, everything works.
Who would think you can just Take a block out of a CRV and slap VTEC head on it and not have to custom engineer some sort of adapter plate? Then in the end have a big beastly torquemonster. I think I'm gonna try swapping Northstar heads on a 350 chevy and see what happens.
Anyway I wouldn't think they would change the stamping just for 2 years in our counry and canada. As far as I know Japan and Europe have the "SiR" style. Which isn't even SiR exclusive. I have a link to a site that appears to be a Japanesse auto trader and all the 4g civics have the wrap around corners, slim headlights, and slim moldings. Even the base model 1500cc versions.
Thanks EF_LSVtec for the visuals.
As far as taking these off a yard car, which I know you are all going to try. Don't waste your time you can get each whole sidemolding kit for around $55 per side new from Majestic Honda.
