possible to find for right around 1500~1700? Perhaps 2k? I had some cr-x's, grew tired of them, I was looking into maybe a cx with h22a swap. Is that a realistic price range for the CX, or am I looking to going into my motor swap fund?

 

got mine for 2100 salvage title , 119k, a few dings and a few things need to be replaced...but i got alot of free goodies soo that made up for it
but eg/eh are hard to find nowaday, if u find them for a good deal they usually sell fast..or u find em for like 4-5k

 

Bought my 92 cx with 240,000 miles on it for $1500.
The body was a little rough but what do you want for
$1500? I suggest not buying one thats for sale but
offering to buy any hatch that you see. I bought mine
from a lady that didnt want to sell but didnt need it anymore.
If you offer most people a fair amount of money they usually
will consider you.

 

i got mine for 2800. 92 cx with 180+ miles. Minor dents here and there, cracked this and that. engine was so so.
but i live in california... hatches are too expensive here. surprisingly I got a decent deal on mine. sort of
