i have a PWR IC..brand new..and im just curious...if u guys saw a black used IC for sale, even if it was in great condition....would it look more "used" and beat up compared to a used unpainted silver IC? and would u probably pay a lot LESS $$ for it?
the reason why i am asking is because I am about to do a turbo install in a few weeks. and everything im doing, i have the thought of "reselling" in the back of my head. HOWEVER< i have a black gsr and i REALLY want a sleeper look (using a stock ITR muffler, no exterior mods, etc) and keeping the IC unpainted would really ruin it. BUT, if seeing a black USED IC depreciates the resale value of it, then i might reconsider it.

I covered mine with a pair of "big girl" nylons. Gives you the not so permanent sleeper look.

If you had the money, anodizing it would be sweet and would maybe bring the value up to people. If you spray it, just do like 1 light coat so maybe that way you could get some acitone when you want to sell it and just take the paint off. You could always be real ghetto and spray it silver when you want to sell it as well.

 

spraying it back to silver. why didnt i think of that? thanks..now i will definitely be spray painting it black.. and didnt i buy this PWR IC of you? or was it earl? i forgot. but great price!
