Default Type R Lip Installed (EG)

I just put on my lip this morning... it was done quite ghetto because I did not recieve any instruction/hardware. all I did was screw 2 screws in the wheel well's, and 3 on the bottom into the stock bumper. It's on there... but might come off. Here are some pics along w/ measurements of height. I'm lowered on H&R Race Springs (2.5f 2.25r). Enjoy

Scott

This one is by the tires... the lowest part on the lip.

In the very front

what about the little gap at the ends...is there anyway to pull the ends back more so it will sit flush?

Those if you are talking about this picture:

It only looks like gaps, there are no gaps that I could see, fit really well. I bought the lip off from Ebay (Street Concepts) or something like that... for $99.99 shipped. Pretty good deal, but it didn't come w/ mounting hardware which kinda sucks because I did a **** poor job. But it looks good, just hope she won't rip off.

Thanks for the comments

That's next weekend. Just bought some clears and are going to use transparent paint and paint them Amber. Along w/ black Headlight Housings.

Are you going to be there March 9th? That would be a great plan

I like the new pics Scott --- that one in your driveway is super clean.

Could be, like I said, it's not mounted correctly. Should it all be the same height? I matched up the sides w/ the little black lip that was on the bumper. Lemme know though. I could definately fix it. Thanks

Yeah I just put on the OEM si lip, you gotta work with it to get it to match up with the black part on the bumper. I used some self tapping screws under the bumper in addition to the 10 or so oem bolts.

How much did you spend for the OEM Bolts? I might go buy them and reinstall the lip... I'm not to happy with it

sort of, it was a struggle to put it on, I needed my bro's help. Did yours have a little lip on the top of the lip that rested on the bottom part of the grill.

For instance, on mine you can see the black on the bottom of the grill:

On the example you can see the red:

I knew something looked a bit off from that pic you showed me scott -- I was wondering why that black part covered up the bottom part of the grill --- Do you think that is the way it was supposed to be mounted?
