I've searched already. I just want to have a more definitive compilation. Geico is not bad....had 20th century before...within $80 of one another...per 6 months.
I have 1,000 deductible for comprehensive...anyone else or is this bad idea? Las Vegas isnt as bad as LA in terms of crime.
***I should have included what state I am in....NV, to make this a more useful thread, when you go shopping for insurance.

I have Geico, I am 20, I pay 140 a month. This is the lowest I have ever paid, and I had one ticket that I took defensive driving, one wreck, and one claim that never went anywhere.
I have 21st Century. I dont pay for it (thanks mom and dad), but I know it's somwhere around $2600 a year for me on my GS-R. I'm 18, with no tickets, and no accidents.
I'm 16, and I pay 74 a month, or $888 a year. I have no speeding tickets or wrecks. I'm with State Farm Insurance. But my parents both have a perfect record, so it helps me.
USAA, $120 month, 24 years old, liabitlity on a civic
. My buddy is 25 and pays $68 a month for a brand new vette, full insurance
. He has totaled a car before, I have never been in a wreck or tickets, besides a no front license plate
As soon as I turn 25 that shti better drop in half.

$74. interesting must be very low coverage.
What you pay for insurance is based upon how much coverage you want. Their are too many variables when it comes to "how much do you pay for insurance?"
The insurance company will only cover so much in medical costs, property damage, ect. So you if aren't paying very much your most likely not getting very much in coverage. Your medical cost could be $10k total. Or maybe 50k per person.
So basically if you get cheap insurance and get in a bad accident where medical costs are a lot, your gonna end up paying a huge portion of it.
One or two tickets isn't going to increase your insurance much, unless you were going 20+ over. Depends on how bad the ticket was.
I'm gonna have to say your 16 and pay $74 a month for full coverage? then damn you got some shitty coverage. Liability for me is $120 a month. Full coverage on my GSR is $250 a month.

21, two tickets, full coverage for a '01 GSR about $2700 every six months or $5400 a year.
This is with all the discounts I can get (and my grandfather is my insureance agent!) through Farmers. I think it's about time to go shopping for new plans.

thats the best thing about still living at home. we modified our insurance so i'm on my 88 civic dx (liability) and my mom is on my 98 GSR. she used to have a perfect record so i was only paying 130 a month. now she rear ended someone and has to pay the increase. if i was on the integra, i'd probably be paying at least 275 (18, perfect record, every discount possible)
i pay $1600 a year, full coverage. no accidents or tickets, but i just picked up a pesky dui charge. hopefully i beat it, or at least get it reduced. if not, damn thats going to be a damn high insurance bill.

Im paying 6200 Full coverage for a 98 LS. Insurance in Jersey sucks because companys like Gieco and State Farm don't offer insurance in Jersey.

I'm 20, and mine is about 135-140 a month or around 1600-1700 a year with full coverage w/ 500 deductible...I have no tickets, but one accident that was not my fault...we go through Amex Assurance in Wisconsin, but I live in Michigan *shrug*
Hopefully it'll drop about 1/3 when I hit 21!!!

$370/MTH!!!! (CDN) So around 4,440/Annual. And no, mommy and daddy do not pay for my insurance. I just turned 21 two weeks ago. My rates should decrease. I dont know by how much yet. My car is in storage, b/c I can't afford to drive it at these rates. lol
Crazy rates. I also have the Boomerang Tracking Device on my car. Insurances companies are rip offs.
