Stolen Integras......
I read about a stolen teg every week. I have a few questions about it though.
1. Ones that are stolen, are they usually modded or just stock?
2. Seems cars are stolen no matter what alarm or fuel cut off they have. I see all kinds of different layered security, most being a kill switch and autolock. Well, it's not effective against being towed. So how about you make a system where the brakes are engaged when the alarm arms or by a switch? Heck, have all 4 disc brakes engage. Hell, you cant tow it, unless you have a full back tow truck, even then, that's a lot of towing.
3. People who's cars are towed, do you have an antijacking feature that detects tilt? Do they work? Anyone tested these? I dont see how a tow truck can attach their chains on your car if you had a proximity sensor, wouldnt that turn it on?
4. Anyone actually got money from those alarms or autolock devices who guarantee $1000 if your car gets stolen? How do they know you didnt have it on?

1. Any integra, particularly the gs-r/typer are targets. Those who show off their mods are even bigger targets.
2. Repo men steal cars for a living. They can steal anything. Theives are no different. If you bolt your car to the ground and then weld the bolts...they'll just break a window and take your crap from there.
3. Most theives will either steal in an area where no one cares about alarms (malls) or they'll just shock the car and disable all electronics.
4. Most of the monetary warranties apply to alarms that auto-arm (passive arming). And for $1000, who cares.
There are two types of theives...the pros and the kiddies. The kiddies just want the cute little JDM bling. The Pros want everything and they'll get it no matter what.

electro magnetic pulse.
they were debating using one to take out areas of Iraq.
Basically you send out a pulse that disables all electronics. Of course, it's rather "high-tech" so simply shocking the car will blow the circuitry inside.
edit\\\ of course there's always noise cancellation too

Ah I see. I read an article about this a few years ago...hacker terrorists who wanted to say take out a corporation's computer data. But from what I read, it takes so much electricity that it'll black out several blocks to power one boost. You can always ground your car. No?
