Ok, i just got an Apexi header from a '00 SI. some people were sayin it'll fit fine, i just might have to get my cat extended, and others said it wouldn't even clear the oil pan. so if you have an LS header near by, could you measure the areas shown in the pic? #1: from bottom of head flange to top of bottom pipes, and #2: from head flange to cat flange.

measurment two i was somewhatr confused on what u wanted:
so i measured diagonally from the middle of the manifold to the cat connector part and i got 20 in.

 

i think on 2 he wanted distance on the right part of the line

 

thanks man. and for the #2 measurement i know it was a little confusing, but i didn't mean diagonal. i meant just the length straight back from the head flange to where the cat flange is (just guestemate where the cat flange would be if it were up even w/the head flange)

 

I just measured mine and i'm starting to have doubts about if this header will clear my oil pan/block for #1 i got about 12.5". do you know how much clearance there is between the stock LS header and the oil pan or block? u think this header will fit?

 

im not sure if it will fit, ill take another number 2 measurment in the morning for you
