Default Air Conditioning 4th Gen

Does anyone else have a problem with the A/C for the 4th gen?.. I got a '92 SI and my A/C is messed up. It would work like 10% of the time for a small period of time than its all Hot air again.

A mechanic said it was the control panel(button not properly connecting), the freon is cold when I felt it outside,.. but I'm not sure what I should do.

I had that problem and I found out it was a cut wire at the front of the bumper! Funmy part was that all these dealerships were telling me that it might be my ecu and I'd have to buy one and this and that...bunch of bullshit!! I just used a butt end connector that I got for free and that fixed it!!

Fix it, rip it out, or live with it. Pick one.
Mine works fine but I've only used it once. It'll be going in the trash the next time I get bored.

If the button is the only thing wrong, take that panel off and reconnect the wiring. Seriously though. Don't go buying anything until you look at the wiring and know exactly what the problem is. A new panel won't do much for you because you are still going to have to rewire the whole thing.
