You know the black sealant used for valve cover gaskets and such? The Helms just says to put it around the camshaft arches of the valve cover gasket. I've seen some mechanics put it the whole way around the valve cover. I've seen people use none at all.
I'll at least use some where the Helms says, but should I go all the way around?

When i pulled mine off to adjust the valves we put Honda Bond all the way around. Thats the way it was when i pulled it off as well. (dunno who did it originally, i assume Honda did)
