Default Honda Badge Fitment

i was thinking about putting honda factory badges on my car, as well as the honda lettering above the driver's side rear taillight. for those of you who have done it, from what model honda do the badges line up to the integra's holes (if any)? civic? and which model honda do you get the lettering from?

thanks for the help!

[edit] just a correction

i did this to my car. i have red h emblems with a honda badge over the taillight. there are none that have the same hole setup. what i did was i got one from a 90 civic and then cut those little ***** off the badge. with all the adhesive around the badge it allows no water into the holes. you can also plug the holes and then put the badge over the plugs.

okay....a few questions...what kind of adhesive did you use, and how well has it held up to washing/waxing/weather?

are there holes behind the ACURA lettering above the taillight?

thanks for the input, anyone else have anything else?

the badge comes with adhesive on it. thats all i used. and yes there are holes behind the acura badge. i just put the new honda badge over the holes. it seems to be holding up well but i have not taken off the badge to look at it but there is no water or anything in the trunk. seems to be a good sealant.

I got my HONDA emblem from a 1995 accord, but I had to cut off a **** and glue the other side on with 3M emblem and trim adhesive. The I had got off of my old 1995 civic. One fits the other doesn't so just use the adhesive.

did you add any adhesive where you ground the two pins off the back of the H ?

next, for those of you who HAD other badges on (red, blue...whatever), did those come off easy? i have red one's on my car now, they're held on only by adhesive, but i don't want to just pull them off and do any damage (like pulling paint off the car).

thanks for the input though beaterman. i'd like to go pick up some new badges though, grind the backs off and stick them on. anyone know where to order just plain factory badges? i need 2 H's and one HONDA lettering badge.

i did not add adhesive to either of the badges. and you can get the emblems and the badge from the dealership. they are cheap. but i got red h badges for the front and rear and there are no ***** on them. and the ones on the honda badge is just simply broke off but some cutters or sicors.

I have 92-95 Civic hood emblems on both ends of my car, and a HONDA emblem from a 90-91 Accord (Accords and Civics 92-present do not have HONDA emblems). There are holes behind all the Integra emblems. My front fit the holes fine, but I had to use emblem tape to keep it on because it was a loose fit. The rear pins did not fit so I just shaved them off. The HONDA already had the pins shaved off (came off my friend's old car) so I just put a big piece of emblem tape on it and stuck it on. These emblems have been on there since April of last year, no problems.

I bought my honda emblem off some guy and I jus cleaned off all the old tape and re-applied some more double side tape on it( a good amount..cant be too safe), my H's were brand new from the dealership, the only problem I had wid my pair was the front H because it was made for a JDM teg which goes on the hood so I shaved off the notches and placed it over the bumper...theres a slight gap between it still

"HONDA" emblem- $20 from inlinefour...u have to cut the left side **** off so one fits in the hole and the other just lays flat...If you buy a new one, don't apply more emblem glue or anything like that to the already existing adhesive.

when taking the emblems off, use dental floss. Hold an end in each hand and slide the floss behind the emblem to "cut" through the adhesive.

A little heat from a hair dryer helps alot as well. But I said hair dryer not heat gun Not too much heat.

The "HONDA" emblem I have you can't find at the dealers. Mine is the original one for the honda integra(DC2) in japan. The only place I could find it was from inline four, so I got it from them. It might cost more online, but i live near them so i just went there and bought it for 20 bucks.

my friend's little brother used to steal honda badges for no reason, and he had a shoe box full of them. i found two H's that fit perfectly into the stock holes in the front and rear. the front H is smaller than the rear. the honda lettering i used came from an older 89? 88? accord, and i used adhesive to keep that one on.
