started my brake swap
sweeeet... exactly what parts are needed and how much?
how much were the ATR knuckles and where did you get them? They bolted up to the stock accord upper and lower ball joints?
which bearings and hub did you use? and which calipers did you use? and which caliper bracket was used?

I got a complete brake system off ebay. It came with front/rear knuckles, bearings, hubs, rotors, calipers, lines, bascially everything. The front calipers are the same as legend calipers. The rears are the same as a v6 accord. Everything is a direct bolt on, I even used my i-4 brake lins for the legend calipers for the front. Tommorow Im going to put the rears on.
you could have take the rust off the new rotors, but good job anyway!!
are you sure is an 11.8"??? cuz the AV6 upgrade should be 11.1 or 11.2, i can't remember

Its the same as the 2nd gen CL/CL-S rotor which is 11.8". The rust will come off when I brake.

are the ATR knuckles any different from the stock accord one? are the caliper mounting holes the same?
I'm wondering if the ATR is using the same hub/bearings/(maybe knuckle too?) as the 1st gen odyssey, but use 11.8" CL type rotors? Sounds interesting if they are the same, something honda grabs out of their parts bin.
I'm hoping this works: Odyssey hub/bearings on an accord knuckle, CL 11.8"/28mm thick rotors , legend dual piston calipesr and bracket (perfectly matched w/ the 28mm wide rotors), and any 5x114.3 wheels w/ the correct offset.
btw, 6th gen accord guys might be able to do the front 5-lug swap by simply getting the v6 rotor/hub/bearings, hondaautomotiveparts lists the same knuckles for the I4 and V6.

This was off a 2000 ATR with around 25k miles. So it was based off the same suspension as a 6th gen accord, 2nd Gen CL/TL. The only difference between them is the caliper mounting holes and where the abs wires are connected to the knuckle.
I would love to do this but I can't spring for a whole new set of 5 lug wheels and tires. I just got them, what excuses can I give the wife? hmmmmmm............
Im sure the axle will fit, but don't know about the knuckle fitting the rest of the suspension.
Ok the rear was a real PITA. After bolting it all on i noticed insane amounts of negative camber. So it has to be an upper control arm doing it. Turn out the upper control arm with a ball joint is an inch shorter than my old one, so this is why it took so long to get the bolt on. After replacing the arm with my old one the install took 5 mins and camber is back to normal. The brake line braket was also too short with the drums, so I had to use the ATRs brackets and bend some hardlines.
So your accord originally has rear drum brakes? So you used the rear accord upper control arm but the ATR rear knuckle? were the rear wheel bearings/hub any similar between the ATR and stock ones?
Yeah my car had drums, yeah I used everything from the ATR except the UCA, the hub and bearings seemed to be identical from all the measurements I took.
Still need to do the E-brake, and bleed the brakes.
Circled the control arm and circled where the lines have to be bent, using ATR bracket.

I have not idea, never seen 5th gen suspension in detail. This swap is mostly for 6th gens, and All the ATR components can be obtained here, since they are parts off Legend/CL/AV6
