Anyone have one of these?
maybe to protect the exhaust manifold? =P
bimmers have plastics like that under the car to protect such parts

looks like an under tray. 2 functions in theory: 1. provide better aerodynamics for the car at high speeds. 2. protect the exhaust manifold from speed bumps
anybody know what this piece costs?
it seems like it would improve aerodynamics better if it didn't have those "cooling" slots in it...

Two things someone once told me about these in Japan.
For one, can be used for aerodyanmics and increase gas mileage. (Has anyone seen the under-structure of a NSX(performance) or Honda Insight Hybrid(gas saver).
The second is for rally racers (FWD and AWD), since your going through rocks ,dirt and flying off the ground at high speed that can protect the oil pan and header.

That's a BeatRush "cooling" panel - I like the Crowhouse front diffuser much better.

if its for aerodynamic purposes, aluminum can be used as it is very light and affordable. (my aluminum hood on my WRX is as light as most carbon fiber hoods) if you look at mugen body kits, their design incorporates a longer piece underneath the car to aid in aerodynamics.
Yep looks like some sort of protection. I would like to do that to my car becuase its a little too low. I drive my girl friends M3 all the time and it hits many things just as much as my car; and it has stock suspension.

I dont like the Crowhouse rear bumper as it traps even more air than a OEM rear bumper. And the rear diffuser really looks like its for cosmetics more than funtion.
I do like their front undertray, fender, and side skirt as they do serve a purpose.
The price is quite unattractive though.

the price does suck...but it looks good///as for trapping air..its suppose to be used with the rear underbody...the combination of the two is suppose to produce more functionality
