Im gonna do a 98+ front conversion. I have 94-97 headlights. I also have a set of 98+ headlights with broken back mounts. What i wanna know is if i can open the lens of the 98+ headlights and switch it to my 94-97 backing would this fit? It looks like it would fit from what i see but im not sure.

That's not a bad question... Looking at tme side by side I don't think you can... but hey if it works, let us know!

 

Well you have both sets of headlights, so just compare. I'm thinking that most likely they did not change the rear half of the casing, and only the front clear lens itself. If that is the case, then you should be able to just heat up and remove the clear lens from the headlights and swap them over to the 94-97 headlights. You might have to swap over the inner parts of the headlights, too. But yeah just check it out and see if the rear half of the casings are the same.
