hey whats up guys. i just bought a 1989 civic hatch dx. came out to 400 bucks. it has a tanabe muffler and is very loud, but the welding job that was done on it is very good. the car has 214k miles on it, but it runs better than my prelude. i have seen a couple of ads for 88-91 b16s with tranny and ecu for 1000 bucks. is this a good way to go if my civic gives up on me? how hard would the install be? how much would a shop charge for it if i supply all the parts (Mounts...etc)

i wanna make this car a sleeper, and it lokos like one already with its various small little rust spots and non matchiong hood. hehe

 

the swap isn't that hard if you have everything , wire harness , mounts - hassport, place racing or hcp or the hard way cut and remount the stock ones just dont mount to close to the fire wall. check out those places on line and some others
