Headlights have rough surface....
Hey all, on my '96 EX civic, the headlights have a rough surface and look really bad. They are hard to see out of at night and everything. I had heard of people taking sandpaper to them to make them crystal clear, but not sure on what all to use. Has anyone ever done this where you could stear me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,

im sure you can sand them down a little, but wont that create more of a haze??? rough like what?? the actual plastic is rough or is there something on your headlight?? if so then just take some terpentine or some kind of solvent and white the headlight.
It's like when your headlights get old and it is like a haze on the headlight. I'll try to get a pic of them but I'm at work right now.
I hear people doing something like a certain grit sandpaper w/some kind of water solution, then a smaller grit, etc and it turning out perfect.
