In Cardiff, San Diego. '99 GSR Black leather new tires on wednesday and going back to stock to sell it.
He calls LOJACK and they notify the 5-o's.
They find the car in Mission Valley by Qualcomm Stadium in a person GARAGE.
They weren't home, so the police are "picking them up " at their work/school.
hehehehehe
So far they say only the seats were out but details are sketchy.
Dun dun dun.. Another theif bites the dust...

How much does LOJACK cost anyway?
yea... alot of people look at my car too. Especially the neiborhood kids. But my **** is always locked up in the garage or driven by me... so if they want to jack my car, they'd have to bust down my Garage and take my car. By that time, I'd be in the garage ****** them up...

LOJACK is a theft recovery system. Cars are equipped with transmitters that are activated when the car is reported stolen. Police units are now equipped with tracking devices to pinpoint the location of the said vehicle.
Cost is roughly 600 one time and is valid for the entire duration of ownership.
Very impressive system when the theft is reported early enough.
My friend just notified me that they towed his car to the Auto theft yard where he is on the way to pick it up.

gyeah Tight ****...the best info i have heard on this forum so far....id love to be in that garage with them...dam...it dont get any better then that...to bad the Fifties have to get them..id like to be able to locate them myself...get my car back...beat thier asses..dont get better then that.....
Lojack installed from the dealer is around $1000...Well worth it too..There's no monthly payments or anything like that...Insurance can drop as much as 30%....
well lojack is ku and everything, but the downside is it's a radio based frequency... so if the car is driven a mile or 2 it can break that frequency and can take up to days to find.. some cases such as this one they were lucky and were able to track the frequency.. right now there is another company out right now.. i forget the name, but they are satellite based.. you get an account with this company and you can look up on the web where your car is at that very moment.. which way it is travelling.. and how fast it is traveling at.. my friend has this in his civic, and he isn't scared of nething w/ that haha.. he let a friend borrow his car and he tracked him and saw exactly where that friend took his car lol.

Score one for the good guys. Hopefully he gets the car back as well as anything that was taken off of it. And hopefully those thives get *** raped in jail.

very kool, i heard that having lojack will lower your insurance...is this ture?
Here in Canada, we have Boomerang. http://www.boomerangtracking.com
It tracks where your cars is. If you have Boomerang 2, you get a transponder that has to be with you when you start the car, the system will recognise if your transponder is not in the car, therefore the owner is not starting the car, therefore the send the po-po to track down the car. There is an initial charge and then monthly fees.
