Default ITR suspension

I guess this is the place to ask, if not flame me and move or remove this post.

If you purchased a " COMPLETE " ITR suspension swap and wheels, would you expect stock sway bars to come with?

The swap is for better handling and brakes, not looks.

I would. It handles differently without the swaybars.

nope. I would not. And I've never seen a "complete" itr suspension swap that has.

edit: plus you need a good mounting kit anyways for the ITR sway bar.

well Larry Jr. is cool. I've never seen a private seller or thief include the swaybars though.

honestly I've never asked a shop for such parts. Larry Jr. @ IAS is who I'd get it from even before Will pointed out that he includes the bars.

I wish I had known that before I purchased and received mine.
Oh it is 96 spec, I did not want all the bling of 5 lug on a Civic HB. I may not even use the wheels for long on account of the bling factor.

Just wondering, why does everyone consider ITR suspension to be the suspension and brakes? Because I had a couple people ask me if it comes with the brakes. If I had said suspension and brakes, I would expect suspension and brakes.

because they are buying a '5 lug swap'... the brakes would not work on much else. I guess.

Larry also includes the correct master cylinder/booster with his swaps.

It depends from one place to another.

The real question is do you inquire about what comes with the complete kit before you gave them the $$?

If you didn't ask what was included before you folked over the $$, then you're responsible for what you get (which in this case would be just 5-lug "kit" without the sway bars).

Unless you saw pictures of front & rear swaybars in the picture of the 5-lug "kit" that the vendor was selling, you really do not have a case.

FYI, when I sold my "kit," I specifically said what was included (in this case 5-lug brake/hub/trailing arm and NO shocks/springs/uppermount & NO swaybars.

I did mention it in my e-mails. I assumend it was over looked in the sellers response to me, because he did not mention it.

I think you have a valid case if you did mention the sway bars in the e-mail. g'luck.
