Hey guys. I figured you guys use this pan the most so I figured I would ask here. I have a B series moroso oil pan and the oil pump pickup for the VTEC engines. It seems like the pan is the same for both the VTEC and non-VTEC motors but the pickups are the different. I'm trying to sell my pan and I have had two people ask, one has a b18a block and the other a b20, both have block girdles and want to make sure the pan will clear the girdle (which I imagine it would but asking to be sure). And they are wondering what oil pump pickup they need. Will the Moroso VTEC pickup clear the Z10 girdle? Do they need the VTEC oil pump pickup or the non-VTEC oil pump pickup. My friend has an LS/VTEC that he is building and is wondering the same thing. Sorry for the long post. Thanks guys.

If you're using a girdle, you'll need the GSR or ITR type pickup.

 

The pan obviously clears the girdle, correct?
