Default jdm itr boot fit on 98 usdm itr?

like topic says, will the jdm dc2 itr red stitched shift boot fit perfectly in place of my usdm itr shift boot on my 98 usdm itr? any modifications needed?

it will fit exactly in place of the stock boot, but if you have the 97-98 type shift ****, you may have to switch the very top piece of the boots to get the boot to "connect" to the older type ****. The top piece is held in place with a tie wrap. just snip the tie wrap, replace plastic top "rings" and tie wrap the piece back. makes for a nice install.
