Default Greeddy exhaust with b16a, if ya got it please reply!!

I want to know how loud it is. I am going for the quietest possible, while still letting the engine breathe. I have the greddy exhaust on my hatch, and I like it. Do you think the b16a will be louder (obviously vtec will make it louder).

Another idea would be, weld a stock muffler on, like a gsr or something. I have 2 1/4 inch piping (crush bent ) , but the gsr cant be more than 2 inch right?

What would you guys do? I just want the quietest possible, with the best pereformance. Thanks, Ryan

I have a Greddy exh., its a nice piece. Ive had it for a few yrs and no complaints. Quiet enough for daily driving and not that fart can sound. My only problem is the rather large tip. Nothing stealth about that. My .02.

I will be painting it all flat black, and cutting the tip if I get it (greddy).
Anyone have a greddy, with a d16a, and swich to a b16a? Out of vtec does it sound similar? Thanks, Ryan

I'm not sure if this applies because I have a hatch and an lsvtec motor...Anyway, i had an HKS exhaust and replaced it with Greddy SP...I thought HKS was quiet, Greddy was even more...I like it especially the stainless material...I'll give it a

Cool guys, thanks. I just want to be stealth from the cops. So you think I will like the greddy then? Dosent the greddy only make the sp for hatches, and mx for crx's? Is it the same muffler? Thanks, Ryan

PS, EF_LSVtec I remember your hks. It was only 2 inches right?

PPS, My current exhaust is sooooooo obnoxious.

yup, 2 inches...looks good but need the extra 1/4 inch. Although, when we actually measured the diameter, the Greddy seemed less than 2 1/4...in fact not that much to consider, but I replaced em anyway because the Greddy is quieter, new and I someone already bought the HKS. So nice having a quiet exhaust, gives way to the motor growl especially with Vtec.
