What type of strut bar do you have to fit over the map sensor (referring to a GSR with a skunk 2 ITR intake manifold), the OEM gsr one hits the MAP, will the Type R one fit?

hey i was lookin on ebay found a new skunk2 intake manifold for like 290 plus 20 bux shipping is that a good price?....and what kinda hp can i expect to get from it.....i knwo ill get more after i build up the rest of the motor but when i build im startin from bottom end

 

Get a type R throttle body and you'll be able to keep your stock strut bar.

 

im getting mine for 270 shipped, youll get a very small amount of horsepower if youre running stock, maybe like 5 if youre lucky, youre suppose to get like 15+ with turbo

 

More importantly it broadens the torque curve, especially the topend

 

Can't wait to put mine in along with the 3" inch ITR AEM CAI.

 

The itr strut bar hits the throttle cable bracket, but doesn't touch the map. You could get an itr or any other throttle rotor setup or you can modify the gsr cable bracket to clear which is what I did.

 

i am goin to run all motor no turbo and im gettin a skunk2 intake manifold what kind of cams/cam gears do you think i should get i am thinkin the crower cams
