I traded my B&M FPR for some guy's stock LS FPR (since I'm stocking out my car, and I don't have the stock one); my car seems like it's running lean. My obvious explanation is the FPR... does anyone know for a fact if the stock LS and GSR FPR's are different? I sometimes throw code 45. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the GS-R wants higher fuel pressure.

 

are you sure , i thought they were all the same ?

 

i think they are same as far as the fitting... but they must flow at different pressures. i.e. B&M fits civic/integra/s2000, etc. etc. but it's adjustable - making it universal.

 

How do you guys rate the b&m I just ordered one?

 

I use a Vortech, with is the same as B&M, it works perfect, and very well priced. When I had the AEM regulator, it started to drop pressure consistently after each dyno pull. With the Vortech, it holds pressure fine.

 

b&m is one of the best since it uses the stock body, i have one and it works great, btw the ones the have the guage connected onto the controller suck, it made my car hesitate everytime i tried to start it, sometimes it wouldn't.
