Help me pick a color ***56k WARNING!!!***
The following 7 colors are what I'm strongly considering for my repaint. Vote for your favorite, but one request:
NO OTHER SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE!!!
That being said, here's the choices:
Ferrari 550, Tour De France Blue

Mazda MX-5, Midnight Blue Metallic

Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo, Lapis Blue

BMW Z4, Sterling Gray

Lamborghini Diablo, Grigio Iris

Aston Martin, Titanium

Lamborghini Diablo, Chario Blue

The top 4 will go against each other in the next couple weeks. Hopefully I'll have decided on a color before June.

just a lil 411, if you pick an exotic paint color you are going to pay for it $$$, you can usually find another color really close and save some $. My personal fav. color is BMW Laguna Seca Blue!
baby blue sucks.
and it'll be a PPG match, not the actual paint from the dealership.
best friend from high school is assistant manager at a local bodyshop, and his painters are frickin GODS. they've done a lot of the really really really nice 30's and 40's streetrods around here that win lots of awards every year at the midwest goodguys in des moines, ia. so anthony is gonna get me a really really really good price on the paintjob/bodywork. like i pay for paint, half off on labor, and buy the parts for bodywork (new rear door handles to shave keys, actuators for keyless entry, and new radiator support).
bodyshop hookups =

I was a tossup between the Ferrari blue and the Diablo Iris.
The Iris would look the knutz w/ black wheels, though

I actually am getting the same paint job that is on the Porsche there. It looks so nice. It is so suttle yet powerful at the same time. I cant wait for my car to be done. I will post pics as soon as I get the car back.

okay i'm leaning toward either the ferrari or porsche blues.........with cf hood and lip, and gunmetal SSR comp's.
with all bodywork, including shaving emblems, replacing door handles with keyless units, installing keyless entry, and fixing the rocker panels (dented up in from a trip into a ditch the previous owner took, also why the radiator support is gettin changed), the job is going to be a good deal under $2k for me. anthony asked that i not disclose the actual price, and i don't mind respecting that if it's gonna get me a killer deal on a hell of a job.

I guess you're gonna have to change your username, huh?
my vote is the Porsche Lapis Blue. I've seen it in person and it is choice.

Go with the Ferrari blue. Nice cars to use as examples, but the MX-5?!?!?! What were you thinking?? Just kidding man.

i was at the local porsche dealership trying to get a paint chip or something and happened to see a freshly washed example of the mx-5 in that color; you'd be pretty damned surprised if you saw it in person. it's just a little bit lighter than the lapis, with a hint of dark blue and purple flake mixed in. quite a beautiful color to be honest. oh and don't knock the miata until you beat one in an auto-x.
try looking at the 360 modena silver, very clean, and the celica carbon blue is nice also. the new 4runner silver is tight two, just not as exotic
